Starting off with the chips and salsa, they were very good. The salsa has a smoky depth to it and is delicious. Chips are nice and crispy! Whatever you do, get the carnitas cheese crisp! It is DELICIOUS!! All of the flavors mix together so well for a combination of savory and spicy, it’s so good!! We also had the chicken fajitas and they were fantastic. There was a lot of chicken and veggies, I took half of it home! Really great food, and the service was also wonderful… very friendly, attentive and timely! We will definitely be back!
Our server Brianna was so charismatic and kind. The food tasted good and came out quite fast. Bathrooms were decorated cutely and clean as well. Would definitely come back again!
House margaritas are a must try!! They are flavorful and pack a punch!! We went for my birthday and this place didn’t disappoint!! Food was tasty, loved their chips and salsa and the service was good!! Cute place with a nice bar area that you can sit comfortably at or get a table!! Prices are a bit higher than your typical Mexican food place, but it’s worth a visit!! Let me say again, the house margaritas are a must try!!
What a great find. Visiting AZ from Indiana. Stopped by here for dinner. Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. Ordered the mixed soft shell tacos and several appetizers including the street corn (amazing) and guacamole dip. Definitely recommend. Happy hour menu is also a treat.
Love their food and those Chili Rellenos with green sauce for me are the yummiest but I usually get the Presidente plate because it has my favorites. My family that has been there are all in agreement with me. We take out and have eaten there very friendly and service is awesome.
Fantastic drinks and excellent service. Restaurants in Gilbert come and go. The great ones live on, which explains Isabel's.
Delicious food!. Nice setting, sat at the bar, practically empty, but tables were full. Pollo asada was phenomenal, husband had carne asada torta. He quickly went into a food coma Really great food and dessert cocktails at a reasonable price.
TL;DR: Amazing food, amazing cocktails, amazing food. You can’t go wrong here. We were looking for a new Mexican restaurant after our previous favourite closed and stumbled upon Isobel’s and decided to give it a try! Turns out it was a fantastic choice! The margs are absolutely killer and food is incredible. The Pollo Asado is absolutely fantastic as well as the enchiladas and tamales! Usually the let down of a Mexican dish can be the rice and beans, but not here. Both were immensely flavourful and could easily stand on their own. Special shout out to Hiro (I hope I’m spelling that right) who was our server. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He is a fantastic example of the exemplary staff here from the bartenders down to the support staff. We will absolutely be back!
